Due to the area's residential and natural setting, a private vehicle is recommended for traveling to downtown Puerto Varas and exploring the Lake Llanquihue area. A car is also convenient for trips to Frutillar, Ensenada, Petrohué, and Osorno Volcano. El Tepual Airport is approximately 25 km away, around a 30–35 minute drive, depending on the route and traffic conditions.
