1Introduction and acceptance
Oceana Group is a company dedicated to vacation rentals and the comprehensive management of luxury properties in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, and Colombia. By making a booking, completing a payment, or accessing any of its properties, the guest declares to have fully read and accepted these Terms and Conditions, which govern the contractual relationship between the parties.
2Bookings and payments
To confirm a booking, the guest must provide complete personal details (full name, identity document, date of birth, address, contact information, and names of companions) along with proof of payment. Between 50% and 100% of the total stay must be paid to secure the booking; the remaining balance, cleaning fee, and security deposit are due at check-in. Payments may be made by bank transfer, credit card, PayPal, bank slip, or cash at authorized offices. Should Oceana Group be unable to fulfill a confirmed booking due to circumstances beyond its control, it will offer an equivalent property or a full refund, at the guest's choice.
3Check-in and check-out
Check-in is available from 16:00 to 00:00, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Check-out is by 11:00 on the day of departure. The guest must notify their estimated arrival time at least 30 minutes in advance. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge of 50% of the daily rate. If the property is not vacated within 30 minutes of the agreed departure time, an additional night's charge will apply.
4Cancellations and modifications
Cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for early departures or no-shows. Any request to modify dates or property must be made in writing and is subject to availability and express confirmation from Oceana Group. In the event of rule violations, disturbances, excess occupants, use of illegal substances, or non-payment, Oceana Group reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately and without refund.
5Guest obligations
The guest must respect the established schedules, pay the full rental amount and agreed deposits, and not exceed the maximum number of occupants stated in the booking. The property must be used responsibly, avoiding damage, noise disturbances, or violations of building rules. All occupants must be registered; undeclared guests will incur an additional charge of 100% of the daily rate. Any fines imposed by building management due to the guest's conduct will be the guest's sole responsibility.
6Damages and security deposit
The guest is civilly liable for any damage, loss, or deterioration caused to the property, furniture, appliances, or common areas during their stay. The security deposit will be returned after inspection, minus any replacement or extraordinary cleaning costs. In the case of significant damage, Oceana Group may retain the deposit for up to 15 business days to assess the full repair cost. Oceana Group assumes no liability for the loss or theft of personal belongings within the property.
7Oceana Points Program
Oceana Group offers a loyalty program through which owners and guests accumulate Oceana Points, equivalent to 1 USD per point. Points can be redeemed for discounts on future stays, improvements to affiliated properties, or promotional products. Points are personal, non-transferable, and carry no monetary value outside the program.
8Privacy and personal data
Oceana Group complies with applicable data protection regulations in each country where it operates: Law No. 19,628 in Chile, Law No. 25,326 in Argentina, Law No. 18,331 in Uruguay, and the LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018) in Brazil. Guest data is used exclusively for administrative and service improvement purposes and is never shared with third parties without express authorization. For further details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9Liability and contact
Oceana Group is not liable for power outages, internet disruptions, or other inconveniences beyond its control, nor for the loss of personal belongings or indirect damages arising from use of the property. The contractual relationship is governed by the laws of the country where the rented property is located, with disputes subject to the competent courts of that city. Oceana Group reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, with updates published on its official website.
